We collect only the information essential for the functionality of the Script Inc. app and to provide you with the Services. The information collected is directly linked to your user identity and necessary for your account and the features you use. This includes:

• Account Information: When you create an account, we collect information such as your name, email address, and chosen username. This is used for account creation, authentication, and communication.
• Profile Information: You may choose to provide a profile picture. This is displayed within the app as part of your user profile.
• User-Generated Content: We collect the content you create and share on the Services, such as scripts, comments, messages, and interactions (likes, follows, blocks). This is necessary to display your content and enable interaction within the app.
• Essential Functional Data: This includes data required for specific app features to work, such as your list of followed users or blocked users, which is necessary to filter content and manage interactions according to your preferences.

We DO NOT collect other types of data, such as device identifiers, location data, usage analytics for app improvement, or any data for advertising purposes.

The limited information we collect is used solely for the following purposes:

• To operate, maintain, and provide the features and functionality of the Services.
• To authenticate users and secure accounts.
• To display user profiles and user-generated content.
• To enable user interactions (following, messaging, blocking).

• To enforce our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.

We DO NOT sell your personal data to third parties. We DO NOT process your data for advertising, marketing, or analytics beyond the essential functionality described above.

How Information Is Stored and Secured

All the information described above is stored securely on servers provided by Google Firebase, a reputable third-party cloud platform. We rely on the robust security measures implemented by Google Firebase to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. While we and our service providers take reasonable measures to protect your information, no security system is impenetrable. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of your data.

Data Retention and Account Deletion

We retain your information only for as long as your account is active and as necessary to provide you with the Services or comply with legal obligations.

You have the right to delete your account at any time directly within the Script Inc. app through the Profile Edit section. When you initiate account deletion:

• The process begins immediately.
• All your personal data, including account information, profile details, user-generated content, and functional data (like follow/block lists) associated with your account is permanently and irreversibly deleted from our active Firebase databases.
• There is no recovery option for your account or data once the deletion process is completed.

Please note that some residual data may remain in backups for a limited period as required by Firebase's standard procedures, but this data is isolated and not used for operational purposes and will be securely deleted according to their schedules.

Children's Privacy

Our Services require users to be at least 12 years old, as stated in our Terms of Service. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 12. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 12, we will take steps to delete such information and terminate the child's account promptly.

International Data Transfers

Your information is stored and processed via Google Firebase, which operates servers globally. This means your data may be transferred to and maintained on servers located outside of your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction where the privacy laws may not be as protective as those in your jurisdiction. By using the Services, you consent to this transfer.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by posting the updated Policy on our website and/or through the app, and we will update the "Effective Date" at the top. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, such as the right to access or correct your data. As described above, you have direct control within the app to edit your profile information (name, profile picture) and to delete your account and all associated data entirely.
